Our clients should be better informed and better positioned at the end of an investigation than at the start

Investigations are a powerful tool in assisting clients to reach their ultimate objective – be it informing an investment decision; strengthening a court claim; or understanding and reacting to media perception.

The power of intelligence lies not only in its content, but in its use. To that end, Strela Advisory works with clients at the outset to define their goals and, while managing expectations, assist them to achieve their stated aims.

Strela Advisory was founded in 2017. Its creation marked the culmination of seven years of practice with two of the commercial intelligence sector’s leading boutique firms, and my background living and working in Russia, Italy, Turkey, and the United States.

Our work is led by my practice areas: leading multi-jurisdictional asset-tracing and recovery investigations as part of commercial disputes and debt recovery, much of which emanate from the CIS region; and working with UHNWI to use investigations as part of reputation management, dispute resolution, and identification and mitigation of threats to business.

International exposure through work and education, and speaking French, Spanish, Italian and Russian alongside my native English, informs my approach to investigations and to my clients. Be it developing relationships with sources in their first language or understanding the market nuances and commercial drivers in Moscow, London or Paris.
